SEA School Supply Drive for Jamaica
This year the SEA Committee is expanding its traditional community service event to include all of GaMPI! We're launching a school supply drive to benefit children in Jamaica and we need your support in order to make this campaign a huge success. If you are attending SEA, please add your donation to your luggage you are bringing. If you are not attending SEA, please bring your donation of school supplies to either the July or August Monthly Educuational Program.
Donations welcome : Crayons, Markers, Paper, Pens, Pencils, Notebooks/notepads, Backpacks (including bags from past conferences you may not be using)
If you prefer to give a monetary donation, we will be honored to purchase school supplies on your behalf. Remember that every little bit helps.

Updates for 2010
New CMP Standards for 2010!
There is a brand new Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Application as of January 2010 with streamlined requirements for candidates to qualify to take the CMP Examination. The prior points system has been eliminated. If you have a minimum of three years of experience planning meetings and events and twenty-five hours of classroom education on aspects of the CMP Blueprint topics you qualify.
