The Gathering will set the stage for the 2010 Meetings Exploration Conference and benefits Atlanta’s Table, a project of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. This will be a dynamic evening complete with free-flowing libations, sumptuous food, and high energy entertainment.

In today's economic climate, it is more important than ever to enhance your career via advanced educational opportunities and quality networking with current and future business partners. At GaMPI, we understand these needs and we also understand the financial constraints that many of our planner members are facing. Keeping this in mind, a scholarship program is being offered to a limited number of qualified planners.

Atlanta, Georgia, January 18, 2010 - Georgia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (GaMPI) will be hosting a two-day regional meeting planner conference, Meeting Exploration Conference (MEC), at the Georgia World Congress Center February 11-12, 2010. Historically MEC has provided 25 new educational tracks for planners to provide opportunities for professional development as well as a substantial supplier tradeshow. To date, MEC has been the largest local opportunity for planners to access this sort of education.
